hey man! best of luck today.
before your shift ends, don't forget to talk to me. I have something for you and the other employees.

[When Prompto arrives to work, there will be a gift bag waiting for him with his name on it. Inside that bag there are some video games for any consoles that he happens to own.

There will also be his usual paycheck, along with a $100 dollar bonus check in preperation for all the hard work for Valentines Day.]

[once prompto is privy to the awesome stuff mikoto gets for him THAT HE TOTALLY DIDN'T HAVE TO GET HIM, prompto makes it his mission to find him, and gives him a surprise squeeze/hug from around the shoulders]

Mikoto! What's that about giving out gifts during your birthday?

[prompto's laughing though, happy to hand over a neatly wrapped envelope; green, with a lovely red ribbon around it.]

...sorry I got this to you late, but. Happy birthday.

[it's no big deal, it's just a polaroid of the staff in front of the flowershop earlier in the day. colourful and with a bright filter, it'd go great on a frame on the wall.]

[The hug takes him by surprise, and Mikoto nearly falls over from the shock. Once he's able to steady himself, his cheeks turn a light shade of pink from the form of affection.]

W-Well, it's not only my birthday but a special day! You guys deserve it from working so hard.

No worries, thank you for even getting me something. You totally didn't have to!

[Mikoto happily takes the envelope, opening it's contents and when he sees what's inside, he can't help but feel warm and fuzzy inside.]

Thanks, this is really nice. I'll definitely cherish this... I'll have to get a nice frame and hang it in the shop for everyone to see.

[think about it, you know prompto has a point. he pulls away from the hug, if only to stand in front of mikoto when he opens the gift so that he's able to capture it in a photograph.]

[Fair point, Prompto. He'll let you have this one. The noise of the camera startles him for a few moments, but since it was a special occasion, he didn't mind.]

If anything, I should be thanking you for all of your hardwork! While it was crazy, everything went well thanks to all of you.

[Suddenly, Mikoto averts his eyes away, and his face starts to turn pink.]

[Prompto is cute too!! Mikoto is currently in awe by his speech because holy shit, he should learn from him???

It was nice to hear that. While Mikoto still had some fears about being a boss, those fears were alleviated when Prompto said that they were friends.]

Man, you have such a way with words. Thanks, I'm glad that you guys have fun while working.

[In all honesty, he preferred calling them his friends than his employees. Once again he could feel his face heating up from the compliment. He playfully swats Prompto's arm.]

Geez, are you trying to make me tear up? It's almost too much. [But he wasn't going to the lie, he really did enjoy the praise.] I'm really glad to have you working by my side. Let's continue to work hard together, yeah?
