[ it's quite a bit more of a response than gabranth had been expecting — which, truthfully, had been none at all — and so he takes his time to consider whether he should send another reply. he takes even more time considering just what he wants to send: measuring blame shouldn't have anything to do with this; you are just a kid, and that's exactly why it was so unacceptable; I'm beating myself up just the right amount over this. ultimately, though... ]

One last thing:
If in the future you should once again, god forbid, find yourself hurt so badly that you wonder whether a doctor's attention *might* be necessary, you really should leave off with the questioning until you've already gotten yourself to a hospital.
