[there's something about noctis when he talks or types in a way in which he tends to repeat his point of concern that really gives away that he's either panicking or feeling guilty about the circumstances at hand. he knows noctis has got a level head on his shoulders, but it's really telling about what his thoughts are being like.]

[ The swell of gratitude he feels for his best friend in that moment, distracted though it is by stress or worry, is immense. Something about even that casual "dude" or the nickname he gives to Ignis manages to ease some of his concerns, exhaling in the muggy air of that party. ]
